Professional Support

Drawing on my extensive experience as a Social Worker in community and hospital settings, I aim to provide support to individuals and groups on a range of issues including interpersonal trauma, family violence, sexual assault, sexual exploitation and unplanned pregnancy.

Supervision

My aim is to assist beginning social workers and counsellors to connect with their values, reflect on and enhance their practice wisdom, and bridge the gap between theory and practice in order to build on their sense of competency within their role. Often it can also be a space to discuss how the personal impacts on the work or vice versa, and how to maintain your spark and passion in the face of organisational or client related challenges. Feel free to contact to discuss further.

Group Supervision and Reflective Practice

I offer support to workers and volunteers in organisations who work with issues such as family violence, trauma, sexual assault, and unplanned pregnancy, along with many other issues. Reflective practice aims to provide a safe, non judgemental space for practitioners to examine actions, assumptions, feelings and values that impact on them in their work.  It can be a powerful antidote to vicarious trauma and burnout in high stress workplaces. Contact to discuss how I can assist at your workplace.
